With 25 years of experience in the workforce solutions industry, I'm passionate about helping companies thrive in the ever-changing field of digital marketing and design. Filter's clients are some of the most innovative organizations in the world, and being part of their success is extremely rewarding. It's exciting to see how they're using new technologies like Artificial Intelligence and VR to engage their customers. When I'm not at work, I love to travel, hike, eat great food with friends, float in the pool and play poker.

Kristin has spent her career as an entrepreneur in the creative talent and digital marketing space, originally starting the company, Creative Assets, in ‘91 that evolved into Filter in ‘04. She has over 28 years of experience helping top brands access the most in-demand digital talent and giving creative professionals the support and community to focus on what they do best. Beyond work, she has a love/hate relationship with perpetual home remodeling, stays sane with hot yoga, enjoys live music, travels and is a mom to two teenage boys.

Terry Harnisch, Chief Financial Officer

Terry has been with Filter for 20+ years, 5 as CFO. Terry has over 35 years accounting experience, including being a Certified Payroll Professional for over 20 years. Prior to Filter, Terry spent 11 years at Watkins, Meegan, Drury & Company, LLC which was acquired by CohnReznick, LLP. Outside of work you can usually find her glamping, hiking or spending time with her family.

Leveraging deep marketing expertise across a diverse range of industries — SaaS, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods and services, apps and software, travel, luxury, biotechnology and others — he has helped companies quickly forge new strategies and find better ways to gain, grow and retain customers.

David Hensel, Director of Marketing

David Hensel is Filter’s Director of Marketing and an innovative, entrepreneurial leader with over 25 years’ experience developing, launching and managing brands, businesses, products and programs. Leveraging deep marketing expertise across a diverse range of industries — SaaS, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods and services, apps and software, travel, luxury, biotechnology and others — he has helped companies quickly forge new strategies and find better ways to gain, grow and retain customers.

Michael Hinnant, Director of User Experience

Over his 20+ year career Michael has provided creative expertise and leadership at companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, InfoSpace, BitTitan, and others. Keven Thompson, Filterati

Keven is a Visual Designer exploring the graphical bounds of event production for companies like Amazon and Microsoft. His work can be seen around the globe at various technology & cloud computing events. While he isn’t squinting into a computer screen, you can find him relaxing around the coastal and mountainous areas of the PNW. 🏄🏂🤘

Ian Bremner

Ian Bremner leads activation and high-profile events to align brands to its target audience through sponsorships, endorsements and creative marketing. His areas of expertise include social media, content /copywriting/blogging, digital marketing, and sales across multiple industries. He’s also the founder and editor of Seattle-based music blog Old Rookie. The site’s intention is to provide a platform for music and highlight exciting artists who’d authenticity supports the quality of their talent. Old Rookie showcases new records, artist interviews, presents shows around Seattle and has cultivated a contributing group of photographers, writers and music lovers.

Amy Colton, Filterati

Amy Colton is a veteran producer, digital media marketer and seasoned start-up director who linked up with Filter shortly after relocating to Portland. Beginning her career at MTV in New York, she later moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a producer and consultant for various networks, studios and production houses on both the client and agency sides. Amy recently served as Director of Marketing Operations for Hornet Networks - a global LGBTQ-focused media company, and previously served as Project Director for Tiny Horse - a media agency which builds digital ecosystems around film, television, emerging platforms, brands and events. A fan of social justice, the arts, yoga, hiking and camping, Amy is a Native Northwesterner who’s excited to return to this beautiful (albeit soggy) part of the country.

Mitchell Baier, HR Engagement Partner

Mitchell Baier is the HR Engagement Partner at Filter. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys wandering through the mountains and waterways of the Pacific Northwest, serving up aces on the court, and singing a cappella choral music.

Mahreen Fatima, Filterati

Mahreen Fatima is a 3D Environment Artist who enjoys creating stories through building compelling and dramatic scenes for games. Her experience includes working as a 3D Artist at Amazon in their Product Imaging department as well as various Indie games and VR projects. However, she’s probably looking for an excuse to visit the cat café down the street or that new restaurant that popped up. Otherwise she’s likely at home watching Netflix and anime.

Rory Brown, Filterati

Rory Brown is a campaign and brand designer who has been living and working in the Portland area for the past 10 years. After starting his graphics career in the digital world making websites with friends to keep gas in the tank while touring with his band, Rory eventually turned his side gig into his main gig and has been working with major brands doing world-class creative ever since. Outside of work he likes to keep his hands busy with woodworking projects or wrenching on his old Westfalia in preparation for the next adventure.

Taylor Koska, Filterati

Taylor Koska is a Research Coordinator at a technology based research lab in Pittsburgh, PA. Her goals are to organize the User Research Studies and collaborate with external participants and/or recruiting companies to streamline the Studies and their needs within our lab. While working closely with the Researchers and Research Assistants, her favorite aspect of her role is the amount of communication between the teams and the positive environment of the lab. Prior to Filter, she spent 5 years working as a Radiologic Technologist doing Computed Tomography (C.T) scans at 2 local hospitals, the last one being a level 1 trauma center. Outside of work, you can find Taylor focusing on photography and being outside with her husband and 3-year old Shar Pei, Sienna.

Shawn Kirk, Filterati

Shawn Kirk is an Asset Coordinator who works with global partners to provide UX designers and content writers the images and copy they need to create impactful online experiences. Shawn found his way to Seattle during the awesome ‘90s, where he worked in the retail entertainment and gaming industries, before finding a home with Filter. When not behind his work laptop, Shawn loves cooking, playing games with his son and hanging out with his wife, plotting out their next adventure.

Lee McIntyre, Filterati

Lee has a passion for UX. Throughout her career, she has won awards for researching, designing, and developing innovative and highly usable interfaces in a wide variety of domains. Outside work, Lee brings her research skills to the world of the history of photography, uncovering the little-known accomplishments of early women artisan photographers (1840-1930) and sharing their stories on her podcast, Photographs, Pistols & Parasols.

Ryan Davis, Filterati

Ryan Davis is an inquisitive individual exploring the intersection of technology, science, and art. Prior to working on holograms at Microsoft's Mixed Reality Capture Studios, she completed assignments at Pixar Animation Studios and Industrial Light & Magic. When she's not working, Ryan loves to experiment with her 3D printers, solve programming puzzles, and paint still life.

Bernard Ibarra, Filterati

Bernard Ibarra is currently a Research Assistant who supports lead researchers conduct usability studies and user experience research involving virtual reality. He recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in both Bioengineering and Cognitive Science and loves doing research. In his spare time, Bernard enjoys PC gaming, lifting weights, and spending time with his friends in the city.

Max Niu, Filterati

Max Niu is a Project Manager with a Producer's mindset, who helps management and specialist teams communicate effectively with one another by building repeatable workflows that reinforce best practices without being inflexible to business needs. Prior to Filter, he spent 4 years in the ad agency world before moving into tech at Google and Fitbit, supporting product launch efforts and working closely with creative and technical teams alike to give them the tools needed to successfully deliver. Outside of work, Max is a hobbyist DJ who also trains for Spartan Races and loves to travel for food.

Amy Toler, Talent Solutions Partner

Amy Toler has over 15 years of experience in the technology and creative sourcing industry, and is passionate about building long-term relationships with the clients and talent she is fortunate to work with. Filter really does place people first, and that means a lot to her; supporting the Filterati talent in meaningful ways helps everyone succeed. Outside of work, Amy enjoys camping in hernew travel trailer, happy hours with friends, Seahawks games and Everett Aquasox baseball.

Shari Henry, Payroll Specialist

Shari Henry graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Sociology and always thought she wanted to be a teacher and somehow life lead her into the payroll world. She’s been happily paying folks for many years now and just recently earned her CPP (Certified Payroll Professional). She loves working at Filter because of the company’s commitment to helping people find jobs that really fit. We spend a lot of our time at work, so it's important to have a role that aligns with who you are and what your life encompasses. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks and reading a good book.

Jason Stanifer, Client Partner

Jason has 20+ years Sales and Account Development experience working with Sr. Executives within Enterprise and Emerging Technology companies. To summarize his professional passion, he thrives on helping companies achieve their business technology, marketing and strategy goals by bringing value, expertise, and experience to every partnership. Jason is the published author of Rock, Paper Scissors, a simple and inspiring book on how to get more out of life and business, and have more fun in the process. Since one book did sell in Canada and another in Mexico, he can now claim the book has sold internationally! He lives in Redmond with his wife, two beautiful daughters, a Border Collie, Golden Retriever, and the center of attention, Sonny the Cockatiel. To get his Fitbit steps in, hiking with the dogs and golf with friends typically make the top of the list.

Brendan Lee is a UX Designer with a sharp eye for detail who builds considerate and engaging digital interfaces and experiences. Hi, my name is Sitha. Over the past 12 some odd years I’ve had the privilege of learning from, and winning awards at, some of the most creative shops in the world; Fallon, Dieste, Publicis, And Crispin Porter + Bogusky. Some of the clients I’ve been lucky enough to work with are Burger King, Dominos, T-Mobile, Seattle Mariners, Microsoft, Volkswagon, Old Navy, Activision, American Express, And Coke Zero. Because of those great clients, I was fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to introduce the world to the creepy Burger King mascot, the talking Old Navy mannequins, creating the national holiday Small Business Saturday, and helping Coke sue Coke Zero over taste infringement.
