Experience Design Practice
Hinnant Brings Over 20 Years of UX Expertise to Company and its Roster of Clients
Seattle, WA – June 18, 2018 – Filter today announced the addition of Michael Hinnant to helm the company’s user experience design practice. As Director of Experience Design, Hinnant will work across Filter’s growing roster of clients, overseeing UX services and solutions out of the firm’s Seattle office. He will report directly into Filter’s Chief Executive Officer, Joe Melanson.

As a member of the company’s senior leadership team, Hinnant will play a key role in charting new experience design strategies at Filter and developing new service offerings for its clients. He will also provide leadership and oversight to filter’s highly-seasoned UX teams and consultants across the entire experience design lifecycle, including business and creative strategy, research, envisioning, experience and brand design, and creative execution.

Hinnant will draw on 20-plus years of achievement and innovation in experience design and strategy, most recently as the Director of User Experience at BitTitan. His UX expertise was forged through years of creative and leadership experience with companies such as Hewlett Packard, InfoSpace, AskMe, and others. Hinnant also served for 10 years as VP of Experience Design at Smith, working with brands such as MasterCard, Microsoft, Honeywell, T-Mobile, Providence Health Systems and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
